I have just bought a new CD of Stravinsky's works containing Rite of
Spring, Canticum Sacrum and a piece I have never experienced before -
his Requiem Canticles.  This piece needs to be recognised more - it's
a stunning realisation of the modern Requiem.  I have only listened to
Penderecki and Hindemith.  This piece of Stravinsky tops them all.
Anyone else any comments on this work?
