Well, it's *lovely* music. Apart from Heifetz/Smith which is for Heifetz
afficionados (like myself), I would like to recommend Schneiderhan/Klien,
Busch/Serkin and Goldberg/Lupu. A more recent recording I like is by
Mordkovich/Oppitz. Also interesting (and coupled - on vinyl at least -
with the 2nd Bach partita - yes, the one with the Chaconne) is the
recording by Salvatore Accardo. I forget the name of the pianist. *&%@
