Sarah Brightman does it for me.

Last week, my 18 year-old daughter and I were in the local Barnes and
Noble, in the music section. On the store's sound system was playing a
woman singing Nessun Dorma. My daughter and I looked at each other in
disbelief: it was horrible! I couldn't believe it. She was straining for
each note with her high, thin voice, especially the ending. On a hunch,
I went to the sales counter and asked the kid at the register what was
playing. Sure enough, I was right. He confirmed that it was from Sarah
Brightman's latest CD.

BTW, is there such a thing as a GOOD cross-over CD?
