I don't see it that way.  Previn is "famous" largely based on his
non-classical connections including Hollywood and a failed marriage to Mia
Farrow.  Previn's classical recorded inventory is rather slim, but he still
gets much "ink" out of it.  Definitely overrated when it comes to classical
music.  But, maybe he's a great jazz musician.  Whatever he is, he's not
much to me.
