Simon Corley noted that his LPs of Busoni's piano concerto had different
fillers from the set I remember. Likewise, released on the same label at
about the same time, Aldo Ciccolini's Saint-Saens Piano Concertos in one
incarnation had the Septet as a filler, in another assorted piano music.
I know this has now lost whatever connection it had with Barenboim, but
I wondered why Daniell Revenaugh, who conducted the Busoni, apparently
conducted no other recordings. The only web reference I could find was
on a home page which referred to him playing Rossini piano music in 1992,
assuming it's the same person. Does anyone have any other knowledge of
him?
