I do, if they're worth reading.
My favorite record companies in this regard are BIS and cpo, both of which
often provide short analyses of the pieces along with musical examples.
I was blown away by the booklet for Schnittke's Peer Gynt, on BIS.
Among recent releases, NMC's liner notes for Birtwistle's The Mask of
Orpheus were also excellent.
Good liner notes can increase my enjoyment of a CD by a lot. I often wish
that I knew the quality of a CD's booklet before I bought it.
