Benefit concert announcement -
For all classical music list members in the New York City area - this
Saturday, April 10, we're presenting a very special benefit concert for
Doctors Without Borders and their ongoing work with the Central American
victims of last November's Hurricane Mitch. It begins at 3 PM at First
Presbyterian Church, 124 Henry Street in Brooklyn (Clark St. or High St.
subway stops).
A number of very distinguished New York area Hispanic and Latino classical,
sephardic, folk, charanga and even hip-hop musicians are donating their
services for this event.
Of course, Kosovo has pushed this story out of the headlines, but the need
in Central America is still very real. It's been estimated that some parts
of the region will take another 20 years to recover.

Please join us if you can.
Many thanks.
