Anybody know about Viktor Ullmann, a Jewish composer who was executed
in a concentration camp? I was fortunate enough to hear his 3rd String
Quartet yesterday (at a performance of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival)
and was blown away. I think I'll buy a copy (there are at least 3 versions
available), but want a reccomendation or suggestions about what other works
by Ullmann I should check out? Or anything else anybody knows about him...
