All this wholesome stuff about comforting music, morning music etc,
makes me want to get up at 6 and immediately play Mahler's Sixth Symphony
followed by the collective works of Edgar Varese and ending with Pierrot
Lunaire.
Then back to bed.
I am reminded of a phrase from the great humorist S.J. Perelman: " I was
whistling the Largo from Death and Transfiguration"........
