Obviously I am not Allan either, but we have experience both in Europe and a
little bit in Northern Canada now. The difference is the HONEYFLOW. In the
great flow in Northern Alberta it is no problem at all to draw out a few
frames at a time, we did it for two years now. Just use 9 frames and put on
the next to the outside ones new plastic Pierco frames,it works great. In
Holland we never put 5 supers up either, so the difference is the area where
you are keeping
bees.
