Patrick et al: The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program has put out two
really spiffy (technical term) full color brochures that fold out to small
poster size. They are BRIDGES TO THE PAST and PULLING INTO THE STATION.
Bridges to the Past lists all of the Arkansas bridges on the National
Register of Historic Places with photos of each, a state map to showing
where they are, illustrations of bridge types and nomenclature, and a brief
glossary of bridge terminology. Pulling into the Station lists all of the
Arkansas railroad depots on the National Register of Historic Places with
photos of each, a state map showing their locations, and address for
further information. They are available from: The Arkansas Historic
Preservation Program, 1500 Tower Building, 323 Center Street, Little Rock,
Arkansas 72201.
