I 've just bought the complete Schumann Symphonies by Bernstein and
the NYPO.  I was really impressed by the really *fresh* interpretations.
Personally, I did not agree with each note, phrase, tempo . . .  but the
fact that although I disagreed with parts of his interpretations I still
liked them very much and prefer them to any other (to date).
