Two of Schoenberg's American tonal works- plus Verklaerte Nacht- shared
a Virgin Classics CD a while back, conducted by Mario Venzago.  Excellent
CD, I thought; the suite for strings, the chamber symphony no.  2 and
verklaerte nacht were a fine pairing (my preference for the first two
works, but I've had a hard time enjoying V.N.)
