My favorite recording for this sonata is Alicia de Larrocha's on Decca,
coupled with Mendelssohn's pieces and Schubert's small sonata. But, as
usual with recent Decca, this extremely charming CD does not seem to be
available any more.
I cannot remember whether Peter Jablonski, a young and reliable
performer, recorded this sonata for Decca or not.
Maybe you would find Grieg's Ballade for piano attractive also, if you
have not heard it...
