Further to Roger Hecht's comments about Thomas Dausgaard's Zemlinsky, I
have him conducting symphonies by JPE Hartmann and Hamerik and am impressed
by his work, although the rarity of the music means there is no way of
comparing him with others. Unfamiliar music needs a persuasive conductor
but doesn't always get it. For me, Dausgaard will do very nicely.
