I'll take whatever I can get!!
Compared to NOTHING, these shows were an incredibly welcome light in the
darkness of USA television. My only complaint is that for the Wagner
episode, they used Sir Roger Norrington as the conductor. I have nothing
against him, but for Wagner I would never have expected a HIPster... his
prelude and Liebestod sounded like a polka.
Please PBS, show us more --anything-- to do with classical music!!
