I think you're right.  The Bis series is very good excepting for the
soprano.  I don't think Midori is bad per se, but she does not add to
my enjoyment of the music.  The only well-known baroque soprano I have
difficulty with is Barbara Schlick - that voice is a killer(it's piercing
too).
