Karl Miller asked:

>And speaking of Morton Gould...any favorite pieces out there?

I love Harvest. Close your eyes (or keep them open) and and it could
have been written by Roy Harris. Also the prelude to World War I (TV
soundtrack): so short, yet it captures the feeling of the entire era.
West Point Symphony. Very evocative, down to marching feet. I like all
of these more than the pieces people usually point to.
