I'd agree. I've been listening to the concerto, and, although a very
well-made piece, it just misses igniting a spark in me, unlike, say, the
Adams concerto. On the other hand, I do like other Penderecki. I was
thinking of reviewing the violin concerto but decided I had nothing really
to say about it.
