I didn't say "only" three works, just three to balance the answer to the

It is curious to me that Schmidt's symphonies are not more popular. About
10 years ago when it appeared an interest in late Romantic symphonic music
seemed on the rise, I predicted that Schmidt would come into his own, but
so far it hasn't happened.
