It's been mentioned relatively recently, but Ries' third piano concerto is
well worth the attention of anyone who hasn't heard it.  I always expect
the last movement to suddenly switch to the last movement of Beethoven's
Triple Concerto.  Now there's a work that critics often love to hate and
I've never understood why.
