Strauss was THE master of the more blatant sorts of eroticism.  The opening
to Der Rosenkavalier has been cited, and most know of the lovemaking scene
in Sinfonia Domestica (count the two orgasms!), but the leitmotiv for
tingling eroticism in Salome (E-G-E down to B) is especially striking.
