Another composer who seems to be extremely gifted at writing
solo instrumental works is James Dillon.  His Sgothan for Flute is
extraordinary, and his solo piccolo piece is also unforgettable.  Given
that he is so young, hopefully he will produce a large body of incredible
works for solo instruments.
