Aaron Rabushka highly recommends "La Vita e Bella," as do I. One piece of
music which he doesn't mention, and which makes a very brief appearance in
the film, via phonograph, is Liszt's "Vallee d'Obermann." The opening is
heard during or very near the scene in which Guido serves as a waiter to
German officials at the concentration camp. I don't recall the Mozart-like
music to which Aaron refers in his post.
DPHorn, who may see the film again soon.
