Modestly I would recommend:

1) Beethoven Sonatas (complete)
- Brendel on Philips (the new digital recordings);
- Gilels on Deutche G. (not complete but several ones);
- Ashkenazy on London is sometimes very good also.

2)Mozart two-piano music:

- R. Lupu & M. Perahia on Sony Classical

3) Goldberg variations:

- G. Gould, the 1981, digital recording, on Sony Classical.
