Lutoslawski's "Concerto #3"? Is that by some chance Symphony #3? The Naxos
versions of Lutoslawski's Symphonies #2 & #4 with Antoni Wit conducting are
quite good as are the smaller works on the same disks. I don't know any
Lutoslawski recordings by Barenboim. Recordings with Lutoslawski himself
conducting are usually outstanding--his Symphony #3 with the Berlin
Philhamonic (Philips) is a knockout. The old Rowicki album (Philips) with
the Concerto for Orchestra, Musique Funebre, and Jeux Venitiens has held up
very well.
