I kind of like Marriner's six-part ricercare with string-orchestra.  For me
his CD of musical offering is a keeper just for that.  (Where else can you
hear it played with string orchestra? Even Webern, whose arrangement is
otherwise very tasteful, can't keep himself from throwing in the annoying
ding-dongs and chin-chins.)
