I haven't heard the Janowski, but reviewed Sawallisch's EMI set and gave it
a high recommendation.  You might want to read the review on the Maestrino
page of Classical.Net.  As I say in the review, however, you really ought
to have one of Furtwangler's "Ring Cycle" in your collection.
