I bought a Nonesuch disc of Kahane playing one of the Bach partitas and
the 3-part inventions close to 10 years ago.  His playing was excellent,
and I expected big things from him.  Now, he's apparently trying his hand
at conducting.  I do wish he would return to recording some piano music,
but the man has to follow his own dictates.
