But totale will not tell you they plan to keep the 99 cent charge
permanently...
as MusicBlvd was first free then $1.00, this is expected to be a
comeon that will end when they get to a reasonable customer base..
Of course it is good to take advantage of it while it exists, but it
clearly won't last... they will either add the shipping, or will sell
out to a company that will as they must make a profit... which they are
not now doing.
My experience with Berkshire has dropped from very good to very bad and
getting worse... My last three orders took four, five, and six weeks to
arrive... The once famously packed CD's are not longer well packed... two
of the last three orders had crushed jewel cases... Six weeks is a long
time to wait for a package that arrives damaged... and the Post Office
only took 6 days.
Their prices are way up from two years ago... Their search engine is not
as good... in fact it is damn difficult some days and will not produce
the results you should expect from a search.
And if you complain, they just say fine, we won't sell to you any more...
when I expected they would like to know their once famous shipping was
now resulting in damaged goods. I also got the Happy99 virus from my
last email message from Berkshire...
I no longer consider them competive or attractive... though they still
have cut outs you cannot easily find elsewhere...
