Timothy Noah, who writes the "Chatterbox" column in the on-line magazine
Slate, reports seeing some clever banners on the streets of Los Angeles
advertising the LA Philharmonic. Each one "spells" out a famous classical
theme. Let's see how many the list members can guess. (No fair Slate
readers or LA residents spilling the beans!)
This is a very easy one to warm up on:
1)
Da
Da
Da
Dah
The others are a bit harder.
2)
Tuddle
Tum
Tuddle
Tum
Tuddle
Tum, tum, tum
3)
Bum,
Ba bum,
Ba
Bum, bum
Bum, bum bum
4)
Da
Da, da, da,
Dum,
Da dum
Da dum
