During the New York run of Basil Twist's underwater puppet interpretation
of Berlioz's `Symphonie Fantastique, a 500-gallon tank was used.
When the Twist poppeteers manipulate air bubbles, textiles, feathers,
glitter, plastics, vinyl, mirrors, slides, dyes, blacklight, and latex
fishing lures to Berlioz's otherwise too subtle score in San Francisco,
the new Zeum Theater (in Yerba Buena Gardens) will provide the show with
a 1000-gallon tank, for twice as much water and fun.
The dates are April 27 through May 4.
This is not a drill.
