Oh yes indeed.  Sir Adrian Boult famously preferred it to The Dream of
Gerontius in Elgar's output.  It is also the second part in a projected
trilogy of oratorios of which The Apostles is the first part.  There is
also the music.  The theme Elgar wrote to represent The Holy Spirit is one
of his most noble and in a work of sublime inspiration the soprano aria
"The sun goeth down" is a particular favourite.  You will love it.
