I like the piece too.  It is fun.  The dutch-sewdish songwriter Cornelius
Wreeeswijk used its melody in a humoristic song "Kolonien".

I've got a recording with Pro Musica Sinfonienorchester/Klaus Bergedorf on
MCR Classics and I am fully satisfied with it:-)
