Bartok's 3d deserves more than a honorable mention - he should be behind
Mozart's 24th, Beethoven's 5th, Brahms's 2nd. Immediately followed by
Schumann and Tchaikovsky's 1st. Tchaikovsky is not "over the top" when
played by someone like Rubinstein. Prokofieff's 2nd is a must, and so
is Ravel's concerto for two hands.
