I do agree completely, his performances leave nothing to be desired. He
is simply perfect. Even Gardiner recordings have less of an solemn air
that King creates. I think the best description would be to say that King
approach is the most human, he's not concentrating on extreme precision as
others do, he's not putting the music in odrder, he just flows with it.
However it is such a shame that he did most of his recordings in stereo
only and not in surround sound.
