I heard this before about Jablonski. Like Cherkassky he has those horrible
off-days. The best recording ever of Grieg is Gieseking's. A very good
second is Cziffra. And there is of course always Rubinstein, although one
should stay away from the recordings after 1970. What about Cecile Ousset?
