Good folks,

I'm anxious to start my first hive, but I'm going about this slow. I've
spent the better part of the summer reading, studying, lurking on the list,
trying to learn as much as I can about beekeeping. I'm going to spend the
winter gathering hive materials, and I want to put my first hives out next
spring. My question is, when do you recommend placing orders for package
bees, and from whom? I plan on ordering Italians and I'm in Memphis, TN if
that makes a difference.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

David Scott
