The Plymouth Colony Archive Project, created by Jim Deetz, Patricia Scott
Deetz and Christopher Fennell of the University of Virginia, presents a
fully searchable archive of original texts and analysis papers on the
Plymouth Colony, 1620-1691.
The Project has been updated over the past several months to include: new
articles on architectural forms, developments in settlement, maps and
cartography; analysis of interactions of the Wampanoag people and the
Colonists; additional wills, probates and biographical studies of
individuals; additional seventeenth century texts; and tributes to the
career and work of Prof. Jim Deetz (1930-2000) by Marley Brown III, the
SHA, Adrian Praetzellis, Alison Bell, Coy Barefoot, the New York Times, and
others.
