The web is loaded with button collectors, who willingly share knowledge of
buttons. Just type in the name Prosser and a good body of information will
unfold concerning those glassy-like white and black shirt buttons we so
commonly see in digs. Also, type in "calico button" and numerous collections
of those gaily colored buttons will also pop up. The collectors have dozens
of books, some of which are available on Amazon.com.
