The Lost Towns of Anne Arundel Project is seeking a
laboratory archaeologist to fill an immediate opening
in its Annapolis office. The principal responsibility
of this position is the cataloging of 17th and 18th
century artifacts. Additional responsibilities may
include glass conservation and oyster shell analysis.
Minimum requirements are a B.A. in
archaeology/anthropology or a related field, and 6
months of prior laboratory experience. A master's
degree and/or knowledge of colonial Chesapeake
artifacts are preferred. This full time contract
position (no benefits) will terminate on June 30,
2000. Salary range is $1800 to $2100 per month and is
commensurate with experience. To apply, submit a
