All,
I was interested in the aggressive conservation technique of annealing
wrought and cast iron artifacts from shipwrecks, and was wondering if it
has been tried on terrestrial artifacts. If anyone has any information
on this process, especially the heating and cooling rates (I wanted to
try it in a ceramic kiln), please let me know. Thanks.
