Dear Bee-colleagues
A friend and I look after three hives in his garden. One of the hives,
and it's one that is REALLY flourishing, has a proportion of bees
which seem to have very white backs (thorax, not abdomen). Otherwise
they look normal and they appear to behave normally and the other bees
do not seem to react badly to them. Is this a sign of disease, and
therefore something we should be worried about, or is it just an
interesting curiosity?
Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
