With 82 (my count) dowsing items, no one will ever look at anything
labelled dowsing again, hence the deceptive subject.  For those with an
interest in an attempt at the scientific study of dowsing, see:

Delmis L. Sonneson; 1989; Using the Conjectural Paradigm to Investigate
Ancient Architectural Site Planning Techniques; Master of Architecture
thesis, University of Idaho, Moscow.

A small portion of the thesis compares the results of a magnetometer survey
and dowsing on the same piece of land.  The sad thing was how long it took
Del to find three faculty members willing to serve on his committee.
