Subject: information request

Richard Kimmel:

My name is Adam Kane, and I am a graduate student in the Nautical
Archaeology Program at Texas A&M University. I would like your help in
pursuing my research on archaeological projects executed on western river
steamboats. For my thesis I am writing an overview of this vessel class
based on archaeological investigations.

I would greatly appreciate any information concerning projects undertaken to
locate or document submerged cultural resources on inland rivers, or Phase
II or III studies of particular western river type steamboats.

Please contact me at [log in to unmask] or by telephone at (409)
779-6199. Thank you for any assistance you can give on this matter.

Sincerely,

Adam Kane
