Fellow Histarchers,
In the never ending push to finish up research on the Castle Hill
collection here in Alaska, I am working with the beads, buttons and
textiles. After much consideration, the "Color Harmony Manual" by the
Container Corp. of America was chosen for bead color identification. I
have tried various searches on "bibliofind" and at the libraries to no
avail. Anybody have an idea on how to track this book down or at least
know what the cost range is?
Using the Munsell for this process is common, but without a lot of
resources, it is an expensive solution. Karklins provides a
cross-reference system to the Color Harmony codes, and the Kidds used
this color id system.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
