Mr. Demers, I would be interested in knowing whether you have read Charles
Orser's "A Historical Archaeology of the Modern World" or his co-authored
(with Brian Fagan) introductory textbook on the subject, and what your
views on them are.  On list, if you wouldnt' mind.
