Gendered Revisions: Identity, Culture and Conflict
Gradute Student Conferene In History
State University of New York at Binghamton
April 9-10, 1999
 
   The Gendered Revisions Conference is currently requesting proposals for
papers. The conference explores gender issues in history. Panel themes have
included in the past, but are not necessarily limited to:
        Radical Departures
        Reconstructing Gender (Gender in the Civil War Era South)
        Gender and Historiography
        Women's Roles, Women's Spheres
        Communities of Women
        Representing Women
        Gender and National Identity
 
Interested graduate students should send a 1-2 page proposal and current
c.v. to:

        Binghamton University

        Binghamton, NY 13902
 
Or email the materials in a Microsoft Word format as an attachment to:

Conference Materials must be received by February 15, 1999. Conference
participants will be notified in early March. Full papers will be due March
22, 1999.
