Gary Coppock at Archaeological & Historical Consultants in Centre Hall, PA has
used OCR dating in conjunction with standard radiocarbon dating in an effort to
test OCR reliability. Gary also received advice about the conditions under
which OCR can work best. Gary had mixed results, but you may want to contact
him for details.

Greetings,
Has anyone heard of a technique for dating sealed soil deposits, perhaps
specifically associated with building foundations and piers, known as OCR?
Apparently this stands for Oxygen Carbon Ration, but I could be wrong.
