I am working on a cistern accidently discovered during a
construction project. The cistern was extremely full with a variety of
materials, the most of which is bottle glass. The cistern dates to 1890
to 1910. What I am looking for is other research done on the possible
social and behavioral implications of these bottles. Most are pharmacy
and patent medicine bottles. I have information on the bottles and their
contents, but am having trouble finding info on the implications of such
"medicines". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
